THE UNION
Thought
for the Week
Several times in our lives we might be asked to produce a copy of our
Baptismal Certificate, for example at our First Communion, Confirmation,
Marriage or Ordination. These Certificates might lead us to believe that
Baptism is something that happened in the past; over and finished with
and now we get on with life. Contrary, none of us has been
baptised; we are all being baptised. Baptism plunges us
into an ongoing way of living whereby our lives are patterned
after Christ’s.

Thank
You
Father Joe, Father Charles, Father Richard, Father Tony and Deacon
Langford send their warm thanks for the many cards, gifts and good
wishes given to them over the Christmas season.
Father Joe writes: “Thank you to all those who contributed
to our celebration of Christmas and a special ‘thank you’
for your generous Christmas Offering.”

Fairtrade
As our Diocese is a Fairtrade Diocese as well as Fareham and Portchester
Parish, this is an important issue that affects us all. We are fortunate
this weekend in having Marie Malson to speak to us at all Masses on this
important topic.
