Unfair Trade – Black Gold
This powerful and moving documentary, Black Gold, brings to light the truth behind our coffee cups – that millions of coffee farmers are living on less than 25p a day despite the £40 billion plus profits of the coffee industry. If this film is not showing at a cinema near you, please pledge to see it by leaving your pledge on the Black Gold website or ask your local cinema directly to show the film. Simply say you would like them to show Black Gold – if enough people ask, they will.

THE UNION
Thought
for the Week
The Trinity is, indeed, a lofty mystery which comes down from the heights when we ourselves make God’s presence known by the way we live. The triune mystery is revealed in our own loving others, in our doing good for others, in our being persons of integrity and truth. The mystery of the Trinity is concrete when we act out the dignity which has been bestowed upon us – those who carry divine Life within them.
From Living Liturgy
“O my God, Trinity whom I adore…
grant my soul peace:
make it your heaven, your beloved dwelling,
and the place of your rest.
May I never abandon you there, but may I be there,
whole and entire,
completely vigilant in my faith, entirely adoring,
and wholly given over to your creative action.”
(Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity)
