First Holy Communion Preparation – Reconciliation
Those parents whose children are preparing for First Holy Communion are reminded that First Reconciliation will now take place at 11.00am on Saturday 15th March at Immaculate Conception Church, Stubbington.
41 Portland Street, Fareham
The Parish has commenced refurbishment works at 41 Portland Street which are expected to last twelve weeks. No-one is allowed on the site at No. 41 without the permission of the contractor (this is a Health and Safety requirement.) The contractors will need places for their vehicles and equipment, therefore, the church car park in Hartlands Road is not to be used by parishioners for the duration of the contract. No unauthorised person is to park either in the Presbytery driveway or the drive of No. 41 in any circumstances. I know this is a real inconvenience, especially at Mass times, but we have no other option if we wish this work to continue.

THE UNION
Thought
for the Week
In the gospel various people believe Jesus could have performed a miracle to heal Lazarus and spare him from death. They are deeply agitated when Jesus does not arrive until after Lazarus is dead and buried. What could Jesus do for the dead? Believing that Jesus could perform miracles did not prepare them for the astonishing revelation that he had power over death itself. Even as amazing as the raising of Lazarus is, the full extent of Jesus’ power over death would be revealed only in his resurrection and in ours.
