THE UNION
Thought
for the Week
Isaiah describes more than a lavish banquet. It is a banquet given when death is destroyed and sorrow is no more. It is the messianic banquet at the end of time when God will have completed the work of our redemption.
While the messianic banquet is a future event, at the same time we already share in it now each time we come to the Eucharistic banquet.
From Living Liturgy
Malayalam Retreat
This takes place at Our Lady of Walsingham Church on 17th, 18th and 19th October from 9.00am to 3.00pm.

A count of the numbers present at all Masses will be taken every weekend in October for national statistics.
Rotas
Readers and Extraordinary Ministers of Communion at Our Lady of Walsingham Church are asked to collect the new rotas from the back of the church.
And he dwelt amongst us
God is not far from us, he is not somewhere out in the universe, somewhere that none of us can go. He has pitched his tent among us: in Jesus he became one of us, flesh and blood just like us. This is his ‘tent’….In Jesus, it is God who ‘camps’ in our midst.
