PARISH YOUTH CLUB
Congratulations to the nine Youth Club members who were confirmed by Bishop Crispian this month!
Other Club news: Nial Farrell now joins Daniel Russell as a Club Leader while John Monfort remains as overall Organizer. The Youth Club meets in St Philip Howard Hall every Sunday evening between 7.00pm and 9.00pm (except in August) and warmly welcomes any young parishioners from Year 6 upwards. Our team of adult helpers would also welcome another lady volunteer who likes young people and realises they can be boisterous and noisy!!!!
Entrance Antiphons for this week
Monday - God himself is my help. The Lord upholds my life. I will offer you a willing sacrifice; I will praise your name, O Lord, for its goodness.
Tuesday – This holy man fought to the death for the law of his God, never cowed by the threats of the wicked; his house was built on solid rock.
Wednesday - The Spirit of God is upon me; he has anointed me. He sent me to bring good news to the poor and to heal the broken-hearted.
Thursday – The Lord said to Mary Magdalene: Go and tell my brothers that I shall ascend to my Father and your Father, to my God and to your God.
Friday - Honour the woman who fears the Lord. Her sons will bless her and her husband praise her.
Saturday - Hail, Holy Mother! The child to whom you gave birth is the King of heaven and earth for ever. |

BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE
This is the time of year when we mention the Books of Remembrance, a very sad time for many people in the Parish. Last year we received many photos of deceased family and friends, entrusted to us to be included in one of the books, people from our own Parish, who have sadly departed over the years. This year it has been decided to start yet another book, this will be for deceased babies and children of the Parish and friends of the Parish. This we understand will be a very sensitive area for many people but we feel that anyone who has lost a baby or small child should have the opportunity to place their photo or prayer into their own Special Book. If after you have read this, you feel you would like to send a photo etc. to be placed into one of the books, please place it in an envelope marked “Book of Remembrance” or “Children’s Book of Remembrance” together with their name etc. and also a contact number for yourself, then leave with Joan in the Parish Office.
