PARISH BAZAAR - 20th NOVEMBER
Raffle tickets are now available after all Masses. Please start bringing your gifts for the stalls. They can be left at the back of the churches or delivered to the Parish Office.

NATIONAL ADOPTION WEEK 2010 – 1ST TO 7TH November
Cabrini Children’s Society are seeking to recruit adoptive parents throughout the Diocese for children needing permanent families. Please ring 01962 842024.

VIGIL MASS OF SUNDAY
The Vigil Mass of Sunday will take place at 6.00pm in St Mary’s Church in Portchester Castle as for Health and Safety reasons, Our Lady of Walsingham Church cannot be used. Anyone who would like a lift down to the Castle from outside Our Lady of Walsingham is asked to give their name to Rebecca Goodlad or to Joan in the Parish Office, so that arrangements can be made.

JOYCE KINGSWELL RIP
Please pray for the repose of the soul of Joyce Kingswell, who died recently. Please also remember Joyce’s family and friends in your prayers.

HEALING MASS
Healing Mass with Laying on of Hands in St Mary’s Church, High Street, Gosport on Wednesday 27th October at 7.00pm, preceded by the Rosary at 6.30pm.

SERVICE OF LIGHT
On Sunday 31st October in the church of St Michael and All Angels, Dunsbury Way, Leigh Park PO9 5BD at 6.00pm there will be a Service of Light, to include praise and worship with healing prayers. Father Peter Glas invites all ages to join together to dispel the darkness of Hallowe’en. Children can dress up as Angels and Saints (no Hallowe’en dress). Join together to witness the light of Christ. Everyone welcome.

PARISH CHRISTMAS PARTY
This is to be held on Saturday 4th December 6.00pm - late. Fun for all ages! Tickets will be for sale from 8th November from St Jude’s School and after Mass at the weekends. Cost of tickets to include food £5.00 adults, £2.50 child. There will be a bar for all drinks. For safety reasons, tickets will be limited to 120 people, so please buy early to avoid disappointment.

ADVENT DAY OF PRAYER
An Advent Day of Prayer will be held at Heath Lodge, Trampers Lane, North Boarhunt on Saturday 27th November from 9.30am to 4.45pm. There will be three talks, time for personal prayer, Mass and the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Cost is £12.00, including a ploughman’s lunch. Places are limited and pre-booking is essential. To reserve your place, call Yvette Harrington on 01329 832781.

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT
There will be no Adoration at the Sacred Heart Church between 3.00pm and 5.00pm on Thursday 11th November as there is a wedding blessing in the church.
